Born in Youngstown Ohio my family relocated to Los Angeles when I was a child. At the age of twelve, my father gave me a Pentax K-1000 film camera with a 50mm lens as a gift. I began freelancing for a local newspaper at the age of 16 and landed my first staff position at a daily paper at 19. I have been telling stories with a camera ever since. (Photo by Sarah Reingewirtz)
